Waste of money, August 23, 2010

Oh sure, the bottle keeps the water cold, assuming that you're able to actually keep the water in the bottle. The lid leaks like a sieve, so if you enjoy getting wet while you hike or enjoy the challenges of drying out books and papers you stupidly left near the bottle on your front car seat, this is the bottle for you.

Super Snug but does the job perfectly..., July 21, 2010

I use my sleeve with the 1L Camelbak Better Bottle. It was a struggle to get sleeve on but it fits leaving about 1/2 inch below cap exposed. It works great. I hope Camelbak does make a sleeve for the 1L specifically because I'd definitely purchase it.

Didn't insulate enough; wish there was a strap with it, May 27, 2010

I prefer to have cold water on hikes, and this carrier just didn't keep the water in my non-insulated CamelBak bottle cold. There is an "integral attachment strap" with a snap that allows it to be attached to a backpack or belt, but I would have much preferred an additional shoulder strap. A full water bottle was too heavy to carry comfortably on a belt, and I wasn't carrying a backpack. I had to use a shoulder strap we had for another purpose. Having the insulated bottle in the first place would probably have worked better.

Great Purchase, May 23, 2010

I loved my camelbak bottle before I purchased the sleeve, but now it is even better. I bring this bottle everywhere. I am a mom constantly on the go in a very hot climate, so I am constantly drinking ice water. I fill up my bottle in the morning and it is still icy in the afternoon! I would highly recommend this product! It doesn't sweat either!

Not just for Camelbak bottles!, May 8, 2010

I have Contigo water bottles, which I love, but as soon as the weather started getting warmer, the bottle was sweating and making a big mess, and the ice melted too quickly. So I went in search of a good bottle cover. Contigo doesn't seem to make one. So I bought the Camelbak one and I am so glad I did! The ice now stays solid for at least four hours longer than it did without the insulator! And the sweating issue is gone. I can stick the bottle in my purse without getting anything wet. I can even set it on a wood table without a coaster and not worry about leaving a water ring. It's great! I bought a black one but plan on getting another one too. I love that it has a sturdy strap on it too so I can attach it to my bike and not have to drink out of those nasty plastic bike bottles!
