It's all good., September 2, 2010

If you have a full suspension bike then this might not work that great for you as the back wheel might hit and rub it. That being said. I don't have a full suspension bike and it fits great. Enough room to put my gloves, one of 2 locks in it, and some other things.

Large? As compared to What?, August 24, 2010

I needed a bag for my new road bike. The trusty old Cannondale I've used for 20 years didnt have a post wrap. I reviewed every possible bag on the market and I thought this one seemed pretty clever, after all it's got Raleigh's name attached, right? It shipped immediately. What a wimpy, teeny weeny bag. Cute and well made, but - "Large" - are you kidding? I'd hoped I could get my flex Kryptonite cable lock in it, but not a chance. I think I'll be adapting the Cannondale or finding a proper Large bag. Photos can be deceiving.

Very functional, August 17, 2010

This seat bag is a great value. The expansion zipper is very nice. Not the highest tech looking thing but is functional. I ride alot and this bag meets my needs, spare tube,CO2, bars... What is well thought of is the strap tightens up to size the bag for no rattles. I would recommend this bag.

Decent Little Seat Bag, August 16, 2010

I'd rather give this bag 4.5 stars, but since forCycling doesn't have that option I'll round it down only because I don't think this bag is quite a five.
Let's start with the negative first. There's only two issues and they're not really even serious issues. The first is that while this is a large bag, it's not really that big. It says 73/106 cubic inches, but at the risk of sounding dense I have no freaking clue what that means! The first day I got it I put my wallet, keys, eyeglasses and case, building access card, 15 piece pack of gum, cell phone, and blue tooth into it and it was a pretty tight fit even with expanding it. Size-wise, I think this bag is ideal for carrying your bare personal essentials (i.e. wallet, keys, and phone) and maybe a spare tube and hand pump for air. If I had to give a size description to how big this thing is I'd say it's a little bigger than the size of a square (not rectangle) Kleenex box.
The other downside is that there is zero option to lock this thing so you can keep it secured to your bike with your personal items. However, this bag is very easily detachable which makes it a breeze to take on or off. It seriously only takes like 15 seconds to attach or detatch this thing. Which brings me to the good points.
The bag is very easily attachable or detachable. I can vouch for the bags water resisting capabilities, as I got caught in a rough storm and my items all remained dry. It's a stylish looking bag, so it doesn't give your bike a bag lady appeal like the panniers(no offense to pannier users).
I'd recommend this bag for keeping smaller personal items or bike repair necessities. I've had it for about a month now and I've been very happy with it.
