The "Large" Isn't, February 8, 2010

I truly adore She Beest items. As my parents had sent me an forCycling gift certificate, I swiftly decided to use it on some new pairs. The Shindigger pair I got is wonderful. These tights, however ... they are labeled as Large, just like the Shindiggers, from the same company, and are around 4" tighter at the waist. I'm not huge, but at 5' 7" with 40 inch hips, I am around a size 12 from most manufacturers. I could not get the tights beyond my thighs, in part because the ankles were so tight they were cutting off my circulation and I just wanted them off. I really did want ankle length She Beest tights, too. Anyway, if your hips are under 30", you might like the Large Tech Cycling Tights. The size chart is highly inaccurate, however, be very careful.

Great cycling tight. I wore them in a 60 mile ride and worried there wouldn't be enough padding in the chamois, but never fear, the Shelastic chamois kept the tush (and other sensitive areas) pain free. They are a little snug going on but are extremely comfortable and in moderate temperatures, 50-60 degrees, kept my legs warm. I am 5'7" with a 30" inseam and the length is fine, the silicone gripper around the ankles work well. From what I can tell so far, they are made pretty well. I would and did recommend these to a friend.
