The hardworking Pearl Izumi Women's Quest Cycling Short is made to keep you cool, comfortable, and streamlined on the road. Featuring a 6 panel ergonomic design, the shorts are made to fit just right for riding, and with the women's specific 08' 3D Pro Chamois you will have all the contoured padding you need for a comfortable seat. The 7.5-inch inseam shorts have comfortable spandex leg grippers to keep the hem just where you want it and the seams are flatlock stitched for zero chafing to the skin. This simple short features superior workmanship, high-performance fabric on both the short and chamois, and an ideal design for a perfect fit road short. Like all Pearl Izumi products the Quest Cycling Short has a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, that excludes failures from accidents, misuse, improper care, or normal wear. For best results Pearl Izumi recommends washing its products with detergents free of additives, such as fabric softeners and perfumes, because detergents with additives leave "surfactants" behind on a fabric's fibers that inhibit the technical performance. Hang dry the product or dry it on a low or warm dryer setting. Never use a hot dryer setting or use a commercial dryer as this will damage the fabric's performance. Great shorts - especially for first pair of padded shorts, March 1, 2010
|
|
|
These shorts fit well (and as advertised in their size chart). They don't slip at all, which is really nice. The padding is good, although I have a pair of Sugoi shorts where the padding feels more natural. The material is great though and is good for warm and cool climates. The chamois helps a LOT with long rides. They're also pretty flattering considering how form-fitting they are!

Great if you like wearing a poopy diaper, February 7, 2010

I didn't care for the feel of these bike shorts at all. The padding was so thick and rigid, it felt like I was wearing a weighed-down diaper. Returned.

Pearl Izumi Bike Shorts, December 25, 2009

Love the shorts; great fit and well made; lots of padding. When new, however, the padding is so stiff that walking is very awkward! Hoping they will soften a bit with washing.

Womens bike shorts, July 31, 2009

Both my wife, Diane and I are into riding for excercise, we're not members of any specific bicycle group, but recently Diane wanted to get some bike riding shorts mainly because the jeans she was wearing just wore out. So far the Izumi Womens Cycling Shorts were an excellet choice, They're very form fitting, and the shorts are very comfortable when worn, and as any of you know who do ride comfort and that little padding is really a nice extra that can really come in handy expecially when one rides for any amount of distance. Soon I'll probably be ordering and set of men's cycling shorts for myself as well. We'll see you at the Pasadena Rose Bowl, we ride to there frequently from the house it makes for a nice ride.

love the shorts, June 28, 2009

These shorts are long enough (come to about an inch or 2 above the knee) and the padding is terrific. Be sure the check the measurements for sizing before ordering because you'll likely need a size larger than you would for street clothes. I wore out the last pair of Pearl Izumi's and I like these even better.
