I bought this for my daughter's first sewing machine and eventhough, it has advanced features, she still can understand the directions and uses it to make clothing repairs that once she had to rely on her drycleaners.

 Great case for the price., August 21, 2010

I ordered this case for my Brother SE-400 based on the low price. I was looking for extra protection while storing the machine, as the plastic bag it came with does next to nothing in the way of protection. Overall, I am very pleased. The case isn't the most solid plastic, but I feel it will do the job to protect my machine whether storing it or traveling with it. It is big, but that allows me the extra room to store everything I need inside the case as well.
The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five, is because it didn't come with any harness or belt to secure the sewing machine inside the case. If not for the additional items I am currently storing in the case, the sewing machine would move around a bit inside. Upon researching, it seems that unless you spend over $100 on a sewing machine trolley, you probably aren't going to get the more secure fit. I'd say for the $17.99 I paid (with free shipping!) it was a great deal and a good product.

I recently purchased a Brother PC-420 PRW Limited Edition Project Runway Sewing Machine. This Universal carrying case was "recommended" to buy by forCycling. The sewing machine already came with it's own cover and I ended up buying an extra case for no reason. The recommendations need to be taylored to the products that they are selling. Unhappy with the transaction. The carrying case is still new in it's box, therefore I cannot rate it appropriately.
