4.0 out of 5 stars.  Nice mat, April 4, 2006
By E. Robinson (USA)
I like the mat, seems very durable and of good quality; though it's a little pricey (that's why 4 stars instead of 5). I purchased this mat intending to use it on my hardwood floor to help dampen noise from the trainer|bike, but ended up placing the trainer in a room with a rug. I still use the mat in order to catch any oil or crud that may drip from my bike, but have found that the trainer doesn't stay flat on the rug -- it tends to slip a little bit and bunch up around the places where it contacts the trainer. This is not an issue while riding, but is a cosmetic thing. The trainer seems to be pushing and stretching the mat into the rug.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Durable and Useful, February 15, 2009
By J. Kamke (Milwaukee, WI USA)
I debated between buying this mat with my bike trainer or using a cheaper yoga mat. I'm happy I went this route (even though it was more money), because its larger than a standard yoga mat and its much more durable. Its nice to use to protect the floor.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Excellent Quality - High Price, March 14, 2009
By Timothy J. McGuire (Detroit, MI USA)
Quality was higher than expected, but $50 for a piece of plastic is still expensive.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  A necessity to your CycleOps Trainer, February 9, 2010
By Jessica L. Mckenna (Grand Junction, COLORADO, US)
This mat is great to protect the floor on which the trainer is being used; it prevents the bike and trainer from sliding around while in use. It's heavy-duty and is the perfect size for training setup. I only gave it four stars because even though it's pretty sturdy, it is just a bit spendy--otherwise a perfect purchase!

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Does what it is supposed to, February 5, 2010
By William Beck (Woodbine, MD United States)
The mat does what it is supposed to. The quality seems to be good. And it lies flat on the floor, even though it came rolled up in a tube. No complaints so far.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  It works, June 2, 2011
By TTcyclist
Though it is pricy, it does everything as advertised. It is thick and seems durable (I have yet to have a problem with it). Your trainer won't walk and your floor will stay sweat free.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Mat, January 17, 2011

Good-quality mat but it seems pricy. Fine if you have a few extra bucks and want to be sure you get a good one.

I needed something to protect my floor from sweat. This mat does that quite well.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Over-priced but looks great., November 25, 2009
By The_Style_Guy (Olympia WA)
If you bought the trainer and the plastic climbing block, you might was well spring for the mat. If for a dime in for a dollar. Besides, it looks really cool and keeps the gunk of your floor/rug.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Thick and heavy, November 23, 2011
By Magnus Gille
I was surprised by this mat. Somehow I thought it would be thinner but this is a pretty thick piece of rubber. My trainer stays pretty still on it and it protects my floor really well. Only downside is the weight as I bring it with me to the gym and the price. Somehow I feel it is a bit overpriced but I'm still happy with it.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Works as stated, January 10, 2012
By JBarwick
The CycleOps mat arrived at my door in no time with Prime shipping. When I took the mat out of the box though the sticker peeled off so now it is just a blank mat. It seems to absorb vibration but my CycleOps trainer makes more noise and it is the Fluid 2. The mat also is a little short so the front wheel is barely on the mat.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Good training mat, December 12, 2011
By Peter N. Deweese (Burke, VA)
Its a good mat. It doesn't slip, gives a bit of padding without being squishy, and is the right size for biking. It also works well over short carpet for crunches, etc. Rolls up tight with a tie or the original box to fit under a sofa.

The mat works quite well, I have no issues with it. The size is good and it doesn't slip on the carpet.
